DistantMidget's Journal, 05 October 2020

Well it's been a month now since my mum passed away.
I kind of gave up here after she had a major stroke,

I started drinking again and eating takeaways in between hospital visits.
However the funeral has been and gone and 'normality' has returned.
Although things won't ever quite be the same again for me at least.

I weighed myself a week ago and it said 282lbs, an all time bad record for me!
Well after a week of no drinking and being good, I am at least back on track.
276lb weigh in today.

Still bad but less than the 20stone reality check of last Sunday.
276.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 66.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Diet Calendar Entry for 05 October 2020:

Bereavement affects people differently in many ways, comfort eating, drinking and being depressed ..... its still very raw right now so don't be too hard on yourself, take baby steps getting back into your dieting give yourself time to grieve ..... Then when the time is right things will start to fall into place and you will be more settled in your mind and body to achieve your goals ...... Take Care ..... MMxx

I’m so sorry 😞 mums are irreplaceable. Sending you lots of love at this difficult time. You’re doing so well to make steps ‘back to normality.’ Work extra hard to put yourself first and look after yourself. Lots of hugs xx
