After a visit to http://www.dietdoctor.com/ and checking out this article:http://www.dietdoctor.com/what-happens-if-you-eat-5800-calories-daily-on-an-lchf-diet I have decided to up my daily calorie allowance.

This guy has been eating 5800 calories a day of low carb high fat food. He put on 1.7kg but more impressively, he LOST 3 cm of his waist measurement!!

I have been struggling to lose weight and even gaining weight on 1600 - 1700 cals a day. I thought I was doing the right thing by calories restricting but this has made me do a rethink. I have also been suffering from low energy and frequent hunger so I am thinking that maybe my metabolism has been slowing down and my body has been trying to conserve energy and I have been inadvertently starving myself.

So I am now on 2000 cals a day of high fat,low carb food. Yesterday was my first day on it and I felt so much better - more energy and less hunger. I'll try not to focus on weight loss as much and focus more on body shape and muscle though this morning my weight has actually gone down a bit since yesterday.
135.1 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 2.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
