While on maintenance phase you should really be increasing your caloric intake to at least 1,500/day as per the Dr. Simeon's protocol, because your body is not using the hCG hormone which burns its fuel from abnormal fat cells, your body will start burning muscle and normal fat reserves. While I was on the maintenance phase, I increased my physical activity and my calories from 1,500-1,800 per day and by the end of the phase had lost a lb.
