3 weeks and 3 days out of my gastric sleeve surgery. I have read that too few calories actually prevents weight loss due to the body going into starvation mode. I have been below 500 cal a day since the surgery. I think my last weekly average cal intake was 485, or something close. My new goal is to get up to 800 cal. Gonna be rough. I am still not able to eat more than 1/2 to 3/4 (if soup like) of a cup at a time. I also have to try and get in my 8 cups of water/fluid, bit cant drink for 30 minutes after eating. Currently getting about 5-6 cups in. Any advice from sleeve patients welcome. Maybe I am just trying too much too early, but I have started bouncing around the same 3lbs for about a week now (185-188). Argh!
188.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 38.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
