I'm constantly starting over with the journey to improve my health and I never seem to reach my goal. In preparation for my 40th birthday (tomorrow), this past year I tried many new things in the name of healthy living and self care. I trained and ran my first marathon, I cut out soda (mostly), and I used my vacation time to go to Surf Camp, just to name a few. Alas, I'm ending my 39th year the same weight and clothing size as I started it...186.2, size 12. Tomorrow I will start another year of striving to hit my goal to lose 30lbs. Maybe this year I'll finally figure out a system that works for me. In the meantime, I'm committed to being really proud of myself for trying and accomplishing some significant personal challenges. FYI- marathons are REALLY far!
