I had Chinese Buffet last night, so I'm not even going to step on the scale. I know how that turns out. Finally got the call from the doctor's office Friday afternoon. (Not from the doctor.) She told me that I have a tear in the labrum and at some point this week, she will send a referral to another surgeon. I am happy for the forward movement, but waiting for an entire month after receiving results made it seem minuscule. Now we wait for her to get them the referral. Then I wait for THAT surgeon to review the MRI (another month?) and have someone call me to make an appointment. I don't know if you've ever tried to make an appointment with an orthopedist... it usually takes months. So here we are. Back in the waiting pattern. Hormonal as all get out. Holidays are coming and I have no Christmas Spirit.

My sister asked her doctors to call specialists for appointments, before she left their office - she said it really sped up the process.
