Cheat day. WAAAAY too many calories...

I know it's hard, but lowering carbs by getting rid of the beer, fries, and pasta might help. Are you pre-op?--check out my pre-op diet on the GastricSleeveFoodie blog, it might help. I lost 10 lbs a week for 2 weeks on that diet (1,200 calories/day and less than 35 carbs a day), but my doc said no one can keep maintaining that kind of loss for long, and 2-3 lbs a week was more realistic for the long term. Anyway, thanks for turning me onto the site! You can count on one advantage--men tend to lose weight faster! Now, post-op, I average 900 calories a day.

Not pre-op yet, haven't even seen the nutritionist. Just trying to drop a couple lbs before the whole process starts, and not doing too bad: 4 lbs in 6 days.
