Egull1's Journal, 15 September 2019

So, one of the things my mother and I recently agreed upon was to stop dictating what the weight of this body will be. It obviously has its own ideas. At the beginning of September. I did pull out 125 cals out of the weekly allotment, because swim season has officially ended. I'm not swimming 5k/per week anymore and believe you me -that can burn a LOT of cals. For the fall and winter, unless something changes - the daily maintenance cals for 130 lbs are around 1700 cals/day, which is perty darn good for a 45 year old (going on 46) post menopausal woman at 5'2. But, ya know this body may have other plans and want to further release lb. The truth is, both my mother and I never fully knew how petite this body's bone structure was until I started to peel off the layers. The truth is, when I hit the 130 mark, I felt a marked difference in my knee joints in a good way. The truth is, I can set all the weight ranges in the world to try and maintain, but so far it seems my body knows what the heck it's doing, and I need to stand out of the way, show up, and just continue to do the work! LOL - so, that is what I am doing :-)
129.8 lb Lost so far: 80.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.2 lb a week

You are right - your physical body knows what is a comfortable weight to carry. I also agree that it is hard to know what that weight will be until you are there. So eating well, exercising and paying close attention to all the cues you are getting from your physical self (like the feedback from your knees) is smart at this point. This is the time to let your physical body lead the way. Good for you to recognize this.

Good application of logic and listening to your body. And great work getting it done!
