Angibelina77's Journal, 26 June 2019

It was a long week! Traveled for work and that makes eating proper a lot more challenging. Hit the carbs.. a little bread here a few french fries there and not forgetting the love of my life... chocolate.

On the bright side I was a lot more controlled each an every time I stepped out of line. Every morning I woke up and started with a clean slate.

Honestly I battle most with milk... I don't function well without coffee and I need milk in that coffee.Measuring my macro's just one coffee with milk hits my nett carb level hard.

Trying really hard to love and accept my body. If I've learnt anything from my lover (who does love all these very curvy curves) [Sick bastard] it is to try be as confident naked as I am fully clothed.

Grow my self confidence and lose weight... thats the plan!

I could have written this about all the things you love to eat: carbs, bread, french fries, chocolate - and I CANNOT have coffee or tea without full cream milk. (And I drink loads of the stuff!) I know it is hard to stay on track when out of your normal daily rhythm (holiday, work travels, parties, etc.) but when I know I have something coming up, in advance I try to have "good" days where I may be under caloric intake to make up for moderately bad days. This is just to ease my own guilt over what I am eating. Also, I try to be MINDFUL and PRESENT when eating. Say I want cookies with my coffee. Do I need it? NO! Do I want it? YES!! Of course I bloody want it!!! So then I allow myself ONE - and enjoy slowly savouring and eating it without guilt. "Being there" when I eat it. Not mindless scoffing as I would do in the past where I would eat 3 or 4. It helps me a lot. Then also, you are already on to a winner: love yourself!! Not in a narcissistic way, but selflessly and appreciatively of all who you are. Be thankful for your body, learn to be kind to it and accept it for what it is now - even if it is still a work in progress. Your body houses you, it lets you be you: treat it with respect and kindness and acceptance. Your self-worth and esteem is not based on your body and what it looks like. What's that saying? Happiness comes not from getting what you want, but wanting what you've got. So much of my own troubles was caused by me and my attitude to things. Being kinder to myself and those around me, made a huge difference in the last few years, and finally being positive about who I am, even with my flab and curves in all the wrong places, I am FINALLY losing weight. The impossible IS happening. All of it starts with you and your mindset. Be positive, be kind, be accepting, be loving to everyone - including YOU.
