Summer festivals + camping with extended family = not counting calories and therefore probably eating considerably more than I even remotely needed to eat. I am therefore thrilled to at least have maintained a fairly steady weight rather than gained anything. That is probably due to the high level of activity while camping: hikes, rowing a boat, moving dutch ovens and other heavy objects from campsite to campsite, etc. Hooray for hiking! Nearly 1000 feet elevation gain (starting from 8,040 feet) in approximately 3/4 mile made for quite a lot of gasping for air, but also some incredible views. Thank goodness for a patient hiking buddy! So, despite failure to continue losing weight, I am nevertheless satisfied with this past week.
