This is pretty astonishing. A new low even after a giant meatball and some spaghetti last night. Usually an evening carb, especially if it contains gluten, will shoot my weight right up. I'm afraid to breathe. I had felt for a long, long time that 1200 calories a day was simply too much, but it's only since I've dropped down to 1000 - 1100 that the weight is coming off. Of course there IS that binge on Fridays. And...I only have wine on Fridays now or when we get together with dinner partners. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm teaching a class this morning (some residents of our retirement community offer classes to staff). The class is Critical Thinking, and I love it. They do, however, provide lunch afterwards: usually great sandwiches/wraps and then the inevitable potato chips, cookies, and Coke. A-u-u-g-h, I hate to see people drinking Coke!!
145.2 lb Lost so far: 2.8 lb.    Still to go: 8.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
