albino4every1's Journal, 18 September 2018

I’ve decided not to follow any more diets. I did keto three times successfully but when I stopped the weight always came back on. Now I’m just focusing on something I can sustain. I’m eating less every day and going to the gym 3 times a week to lift weight. It wasn’t difficult eating less. I have a smaller breakfast, half the lunch and the usual meal for dinner. Oh how I look forward to dinner! It seems to be working for me. I weighed almost 92kg (with clothes and shoes on) three weeks ago and now I’m down to 89.6kg. I hope to keep going until I get to about 83kg. Then I want to eat more calories and hit bigger weights in the gym. Keep my body fat down and increase my physique. Thanks for all the weight entry supports!

That’s sort of why I was drawn to this app. I was dieting and getting nowhere. With this app you can allow for treats and get lots of support. I think personally it’s a more sustainable and friendly way to do things, dieting all the time is draining. Good luck 🤗

Most pundits agree that these diets or regimes are a way of life. In my case I cannot afford to drop into the old ways for therein lies diabetes and all the horrors it brings. So more power to your elbow in whatever way you choose to go. Just stick with whatever you are happy doing.

if it works it works... have you seen obesetobeast on YouTube.. he's at that spot in his journey where he's increased his excercise so he can eat

I agree that you've got to find a way that is sustainable for the long term... not just while you're losing weight but maintaining too. Most diets are far too restrictive which is why many "fall off the wagon" as they feel deprived. For me everything in moderation is fine... if I want something I eat it. 😊

@missloulala strict dieting is difficult especially with all the cooking and washing up! Eating less and exercise is definitely the way to go for me.

@albino4every1’s definatley! I wasn’t in the mood to cook and clean today so I just had a subway sandwich. Really yummy, in calorie budget and no pots to clean!
