It's weird when one moves past the goal number, because it's not about the number on the scale anymore. We're officially into what I call the "cushion" part of my range. I have 2 more pounds to release before transitioning into maintenance. My maintenance cals will be around 1750, but I'm not jumping up to those over night. I'll be doing around 3% increase per week depending on how it impacts the scale and my metabolism. Have a blessed day, everyone! Oh, and for anyone that is interested I did CICO and I lost on average 3 lbs/month over a 18 month period. So, it was very slow and sustainable with maintenance breaks couched in between so I was able to actually practice maintaining a weight range. I am part of the Half Size Me Community, and my weight loss coach is Heather Robertson, who has herself lost 170 lbs and maintained the loss over 7 years now. She's also ripped with amazing muscles at this point and has helped in offering me a lot of pointers regarding strength training and building muscle mass. You can find out more about her through Half Size Me podcasts. It's a great place to start if you want to lose weight with maintenance in my mind. In short, if you want to lose the weight with the intention of actually keeping it off, she is the gal to listen to and many in the strength training community know who she is and have been on her podcasts.
149.4 lb Lost so far: 60.6 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congratulations! And thanks for the info..I will look her up as I am looking for ways to keep muscle mass, and maybe build a little :)
