It seems that sticking with the calorie counter may be successful! The pre-diabetic exchange diet the nutritionist gave me did not seem to work, even with the 14-hour intermittent fast, which I still do. I was no doubt going beyond the exchanges on a regular basis. Well, we'll see how this FS goes, and I intend to be totally honest about it. I'll give it 3 months, then take a look at whether anything further has to be changed.
Still exercising vigorously six days a week: Zumba (2), Tai Chi (1), water aerobics (1), weight-lifting (2). Feel super-great. . .must continue. . .nearing 80! (A-u-u-g-h)
