I have followed the diet that was low calorie, but could not sustain the low sodium numbers. As my body healed from the surgery in Nov 2016, I had lost 25 lbs at one point, but I couldn’t eat salads well, and the sugars were calling my name, because my salts were hiddenly high. It is insidious! I got a part time job in September and thought I could manage my life, my work, and my body but I COULD NOT DO IT! I am so frustrated with my self, and the docks kept intentionally not giving advice except what the American diet was stating, managing BS with meds. Exercise exercise! Your heart is fixed, exercise. But the fatigue was too great and wasn’t rebounding me into health! I felt more trapped. I caught every flu and cold, and each time had to have more antibiotics... knowing what the grains, and the antibiotics were doing, I did manage to change to iced teas rather than sodas,but nothing has clicked in the immune system, and my digestion is wacked out by the swings from controlled bs to uncontrolled bs while trying to manage a new issue of eczema or fungal infection.
As I looked at the sodium for the ketogenic dieters here in this forum, I was relieved, a healthier kidney liver situation is what I want to work for, and I saw it...!!!!!
I have had a second chance at healthy life and was so frightened that I was going to lose it
Here is a third start....
242.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 32.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
