I am eating huge bowls of rice and beans and oatmeal but I'm getting barely above 1000 calories. I want to do the Daniel Fast for 40 days if possible. But I'm wondering at what point my body will signigicantly slow my metabolism to deal with the reduced calories and therefore bring weight loss to a halt.
