I have decided to tackle this in a decidedly way. Im 64. I don't eat breakfast and I haven't since I left home at 18. Lunch has been a gorge fest with eating out, but my current job does not allow us to leave the school. I'm a substitute teacher K-4. I'm on the move all day and have ordered a fake fitbit and I'm sure I've been deluding myself about how many calories I burn. I don't dit much, that's for sure. I've been taking made ahead salads for lunch. I use 1tabledpoon of dressing, regular. As I get in my car I get my cravings for what has been my afternoon snack. Pringles and a can of real Coke. I have started eating 15 Pringles. I know Coke is bad, but I really need my Coke. I have tried not to drink it for years. I've been told that if you don't drink it for a period of time, you won't like it. Balderdash. I usually have a nap, as I am a 64 year old substitute teacher. then I dive into vegetables. Tonight half head of cauliflower, one crown of broccoli, peppers, one carrot, 1/2 cup patmesan, tabsp of oilive oil. My plan is to add pasta and rice, sometimes. Then on to the evening of sedantary reading or TV. Once again I have cravings. I've been holding them at bay with no cal popscicles and 2 mandarin oranges. I have been on every single diet known to man. I have my needs and admit some are ingrained. The only way I've ever lost weight is cutting calories and walking. So, I probably have no good advice to give anyone and am too set in my ways to take it. But, the rrcipes do look good and I'm a good cook so I can change it up for dinner. Snacks is the tough one. Keeping it to one frosty Coke that has been in the freezer for 15 minutes is a requirement. My goal weight is one that I wilk evaluate. I am planning a breast reduction and should lose at least 12 pounds when the girls go. So. Have a good day. Shame me when you must. And have a Coke. LOL
224.0 lb Lost so far: 4.2 lb.    Still to go: 45.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
