NGL, I'm so surprised to see that I lost three pounds, given the tempting conditions that are presently in my house. Since I'm a uni student living with my parents, so they bring whatever they want to the house and I have no say-so whatsoever. While they do buy fruit, the junk outweighs the one bag of apples and grapes. There's only so much apples and grapes you can take before getting bored with the taste. Fortunately, I knew that if I wasn't going to be able to beat the temptation, at least eat a small portion of it or say to myself "I've eaten this before. It tastes no different" and the tempting would temporarily go away. Although I did exercise for 5 days (30 minutes each), I was afraid that the tempts would cut in and destroy everything I worked for, but, I'm glad I lost even just one pound.

There are things you can do to work around this. I'm lucky that I'm the cook so I get to decide. Every house has eggs. Boil some and set them aside for breakfast of lunch. Don't butter or salt them. If you have to eat canned or frozen veggies instead of fresh, then eat a lot of them (although if you're like me and avoiding salt there may be a problem). There are sensible things you can do. Log ALL your food here. If it goes in your mouth, record it. You'd be surprised how much that helps psychologically. Good luck.

If you rinse the canned veggies, it cuts alot of the salt out of them :)

Oh btw, I looked at your profile and I have a suggestion. Your ultimate goal is good, but you might want to set some intermediate goals. As you reach them you will feel good and be more motivated to reach the next one. That's why challenges are good. I changed my goal weight to match 'class 1 obese'. I started at class 4 and now am class 2. Then my next goal will be 'overweight' and then "normal." These weights vary according to height and age. It's just a suggestion. Take what works for you and discard the rest.

Thank you all for your nice advice! I don't really care for boiled eggs as much as I used to. My mom cooked boiled eggs so much when I was younger, I almost started to hate chickens lol
But it has been over 10 years since I've eaten boiled eggs, so it won't be hard for me to get back into eating them.
