So I'm recording an increase of 1.5 lbs from my last weigh-in, but I actually feel pretty good today despite that increase. I am still down 1 lb from the beginning of July. I am wearing new jeans today that actually fit! And I checked my BMI and body fat% this morning; both are down, but the body fat is down by nearly 2 percent! And that IS exciting! I'm not too surprised by the increase, after all yesterday I felt like I was starving mid-afternoon, and the apple I'd brought just wasn't going to cut it. So I ended up having a brownie, and a large amount of Coke Zero as well. Plus I didn't go to the gym because my hip hurt, and I thought I should rest it. So my weight's up a bit, not big surprise and really no big deal. If I only lose 1 lb a month that's fine. I am happy that I'm not having my usual melt-down over the increase, just take it in stride today. Have the apple instead of the brownie, and make it to the gym tonight. Everything will be okay.
142.5 lb Lost so far: 8.5 lb.    Still to go: 7.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
