Good morning big guy! Have to get to the glorious outside today and throw down some fertilizer in the shrub beds, before tomorrow's rain. I just love being dependent on nature, Having to bend my behavior to her will. I feel more grounded.

A rather difficult sleep last night, as I was having pain, dosing more meds and awaking more often, resulting me in blasting through my alarms and sleeping until 0900 hrs.

So, apparently, I was able to get at least about eight hours of sleep, and upon waking I don't feel quite as shitty as I other rough mornings since I have been titrating up on Keppra.

Let's chalk it up to small victories!

So I included one and a half chicken leg quarters in my diet yesterday, and so far, my gut feels decent. So I'm thinking that the food poisoning last week probably contributed to my weight inconsistencies, in addition to the weeklong digestive woes. I still find it amazing, how important is our Gut biota is, and how easy it is to throw it off balance. Reminds me that today I should check my sauerkraut culture that is bubbling away on the counter. Yea!

Met with my awesome counselor yesterday. Rather than me seeking answers to questions, I was more in a declarative state, needing to verbalize my notable thoughts and ponderings of the week. As usual, she clarified, asked for details, and provided mini summaries as I spewed my verbal effluent. And once, inserted helpful commentary about a possible behavior, that would probably be detrimental. I appreciated that, as I have found other counselors totally devoid of inserting any opinion, instead, only guiding me inwards, Down a rabbit hole of introspection. So it's refreshing sometimes to have her inject directly.

Anyway, I seem to be turning the ship. And I am plotting the course towards Mother Ocean. I am on my way to becoming a captain, once again.
218.2 lb Lost so far: 8.8 lb.    Still to go: 15.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
