The Japanese Zombie's Journal, 05 April 2016

What a strange couple of weeks it has been for me. On Easter, my mother and sister insisted on me eating normally. I hadn't cheated at all or even done a carb up before so it was time. I ate all sorts of goodies such as Romanian eggplant spread on baguette, taramosalata, quiche with crust and cabbage rolls. I over ate on purpose. It was no surprise that after two days of eating like that I jumped a whopping 4.5 lbs on the scale. I know it isn't all fat but I felt guilty. I almost threw my body out of ketosis but there was no point in lingering in regret and guilt. I went back to work immediately on Monday. I lowered my carb intake drastically, began working out every day and watched my caloric intake. It took me 7 full days to return to the weight I was at before my carb up but I have now passed that for a total loss of 32lbs so far. I weigh 166 as of this morning and will continue to work hard.

On the bright side I now fit into my winter coat from 4 years ago. Just in time for the April snow storm because I am swimming in my size 14 coat I bought this year. Oh and before I forget. The change in my face is insane. I didn't realize how puffy I was before!



166.0 lb Lost so far: 32.0 lb.    Still to go: 26.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
