I'm trying very hard to get back on the regime of dieting. The doctor told me if I don't loose weight I'll probably be diabetic way sooner than I want to be. There is a history on both sides of my family so I'm almost destined to be diabetic unless I get skinny. I has been very hard to maintain my regime as I'm living with someone that isn't working on healthy eating habits themselves. I know now what my ex girlfriend meant when she said I didn't support her in her diet. She lost weight well on WeightWatchers but I couldn't afford it at the time. The only weight I lost then was her. My ultimate goal would be 190#. The doctor says 180# is idea. I think the best I've ever done was just under 200# back in 2001 when I was depressed and working out regularly. Being 15 years older now is going to make it much harder I'm sure. I'm going to have to work at it daily.
254.4 lb Lost so far: 4.4 lb.    Still to go: 34.4 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
losing 3.9 lb a week

That's a good start. A trip to the doctors is what got me back on the track to weight loss. Was able to come off BP meds in two months, and hopefully after new blood work in a few weeks my sugar and cholesterol should be in better shape. Keep up the good work you're doing.

You can do it! I just know you can. Yes you will have to work at it daily, but try to start with little steps, like I am going to make all the right choices and exercise for this morning. Then do it again that afternoon, and then that night. It is a habit, it takes a while to make a habit and just as long to break it; but you can and you will. Yes, this journey will be hard and sometimes you will step off the path. But don't let that stop you. Get your bearings and evaluate and step right back on the path to better health. Do it for you, love yourself. Bless you I will keep you in my prayers for the strength to make this happen.

I would suggest to just stay away from sugar, sweeteners other than Stevia, and avoid bread and juices. Eat veggies especially fresh veggies. I fast for long periods, but it is important to slowly build up the gaps between eating. I generally just eat dinner. Good luck to you!
