Felt kinda ill last night- just overly tired and headache. Ate part of a grapefruit and went to bed. (Not sure why grapefruit appealed to me, but it was better than chocolate cake in terms of carbs, I think.) Woke up with a headache, but took some Excedrin, and hopefully can get back to the business at hand.
MIL came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. Everything pointed to a heart attack, except for the blood enzymes. Not much more they can do. So, they've got her doped up and she's feeling better. Her BP is really perplexing. Took my daughter to the ER also, and she has an acute case of bronchitis, due to the smoke inhalation she got when she ran back into our burning house to rescue her kitty cat. They gave her an EKG, blood work, and chest X ray to R/o any other stuff like Co2 poisoning and pneumonia.
We're all still alive, and working things out. Got the green light from the ins to start excavating. We're blessed to have DH's employer loan us a monsterous excavator, trailor, and stuff. I think, with all the widgets connected to it, we can dismantle the remains of the two older chimneys. The new chimney and woodstove- is a monster, but it survived. So, with most of the foundation still in tact, the plan is to rebuild around the new chimney/stove, and use the existing foundation. We have a cousin, who is a builder, that is coming up from GA to help us with this process. My "sister from another mister" is coming up too. Her husband and my husband are cousins...she and I just married into the family, and are blessed to be so insanely alike! I am so happy she will be here!

Anyways...I will attempt to eat clean today and see what happens. Starting over kinda stinks...but, it will get easier as time goes on. Now...back to the drawing board. Blessings to you all!!!! =)

I love to see your positive attitude during all of this. Trials make us stronger, but they still really suck to go through. I'm so glad that you are all okay (well, as best as can be expected) and I will be praying for your family and the rebuilding process.
