The experience of accounting for every calorie has opened by eyes to small ways that I had been adding in a large number of calories. By modifying those habits I have been able to come in at about 1700 calories per day, which is my BMR. I am being active (lifting on monday, lifting and climbing on tuesday, and lifting and playing futsal on wednesday). On thursday I will lift and climb again. I also walked the dog, but she is a beagle so that is a slow paced activity.

After futsal tonight I weighed 163.5, but I only record my morning weight. I am curious what it will be-- I just finished my final meal of the day, which is a large protein shake with milk, yogurt, banana, pea protein powder, and cocoa powder.

Anyways, I am psyched to see what the scale says tomorrow. My big insight from the last couple days is that progress is all about the calories that you did not eat yesterday. Because of that, I am looking forward to tomorrow, when today's efforts will become yesterday's missing calories.
