180.6 today
Calories Consumed Yesterday 1481
Calories Burned Yesterday 3081

I'm within .6 lbs of where I was last Friday. I'm certainly happy about that!! Now to focus on moving it slowly down to goal weight and maybe a 5 lb. cushion below that. Time will tell.

This morning I am off to drive my mother to the airport, about 2 hours from our home. She is spending 2 weeks with her sister in Southern California. Then it is back to work to see a client this afternoon and then the weekend will begin. Hubby and I hope to cut some wood this weekend. Fall is in the air, winter isn't far behind and our wood shed is looking very empty. Should be some good exercise if we get it done!!

Well I must finish my breakfast and get myself together!! Have a fabulous Friday!!

I wish we had a wood burning fireplace. I LOVE the heat, and the smell, but alas, we have nothing. I just wear big sweat shirts and jackets around the house!!! Have a great weekend.

California - here she comes - your mama -- that is! You certainly do a great job of SPRINGING back into "drive" after a big eat-treat! My return to the Fat Secret pavement is a great deal more gradual. In any event - I soooooo enjoy hearing about the many celebrations and special activities that you and yours attend. You have a colorful and joy-filled life! Please continue sharing! Much love!

Thanks my friends!! As for springing back ... boy the first couple of days were painful but yet another opportunity for me to learn how to do this for THE REST OF MY LIFE ... which is what I am working on remembering. It isn't about a gain or a loss or a treat or a low day it IS about balance and living. Wonder if I'll ever get it? LOL!! I of course HAD to stop at Macy's (department store) on my way back from the airport because they were having a BIG sale and my mother had asked me to pick her up some precious female items. Did I find anything for me? Such a foolish question!! Not one, not two, but THREE ... yes THREE pairs of shoes (my husband fondly refers to me as Emelda Marcos) ... one pair are silver high heels!! And not one but two purses (like I needed a purse) ... but they were so inexpensive!! It was almost like they paid me to take them!! I did find a couple of summer like pants .... very inexpensive too. I'll be able to wear them next summer or when we venture to a warmer climate. I confessed ahead of time to my hubby (via cell phone) and let him know that we MUST go out on Saturday for dinner so I can dress up in my new shoes!! It was fun. Have to run ... they actually expect me to work around here!!

Three pounds down, great work moose! Those patterns look very familiar, on my own chart. :-) I hope you have a safe drive to and from the airport and will talk to you later.

I am digging those silver high heels Woman! Digging those babies with a shovel! He-he-he-he-he! I have been wearing what I call "dressy sandals" to work and I soooooo need a pedicure. I will be shopping for some "dress shoes" that cover my toes soon. I want the weather to change but we are having "summer in September" here. Much love!
