Well this is a pleasant surprise, finally down 1/2 lb after something like two weeks. Even more surprising is that I hurt my back & not only wasn't able to do any exercise yesterday, but I went for some comfort food. I'm feeling a bit better today, stayed home from work yesterday & may do the same today, though I'm going to try and avoid the muscle relaxers today. They dull the pain but don't seem to be fixing the back pain. I had a back x-ray done & there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with my spine at least, that's good but I don't know what's causing this pain. Part of the reason I'm studying to be a group fitness instructor is to work with older people my age, to keep them (and me) out of wheelchairs. And here I am hobbling around with a walking stick! Hopefully things will start to loosen up a bit, and maybe I can do some light stretching this afternoon - carefully, of course.
