Doing better with my eating, fewer epic fails, lol. I've been reminding myself that my body feels better when I give it better fuel. Last night I made a ground turkey breast taco pizza on thin whole wheat crust with sliced olives & tomatoes, and light cheese. I ate half of it; way too filling, but I didn't have ice cream for dessert and my weigh in this morning was nice!

My foot is healing slowly; I've come to accept that I may just have to live with the added pain in my life. I'll do everything I can to take care of it and my body; all the stretches and rolling, icing and hot packs, listening when my body says "no mas!"

I'm heading to Las Vegas for a week on Sunday. Woo hoo! I've plotted out where I'm going to Zumba (of course), plan on swimming & having a good time. I'm rushing around trying to get paperwork & other necessary stuff done, my partner's working from home & I helped close down the office and move heavy stuff from place to place. Phew! A week away will be very cool (though of course my partner will work from there, too).

Sorry for once again being absent for such long stretches. I hope to find the time to check in while I'm away from home. Miss you all.
