I've been working out in the evenings with the lovely spousal unit. Last night I did weights and because she wasn't finished yet, then did another tough 10 minutes on the elliptical stepper. Wow, I was wiped out!

Heading into the Christmas season and my (argh) 50th birthday. My goal (again) is to be below 190 for my birthday. Fairly unambitious goal, but there are a lot of Christmas parties and events with food and booze.
192.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.5 lb a week

I would say your goal is ambitious enough with all the holiday parties ahead. It's great to exercise with your partner. I know it pushes me harder to have him working with me. I turned 50 this year too. It's not all bad! I was talking to an 80 year old man at the golf course today who is in terrific condition. He plays there 3 times a week and looks great. That's going to be us in 30 years, right?!

50 is the year! You will do it - I think it is a great motivator to make health something to work at, not something to take for granted as, I least I did, in my younger days. Happy New Year!
