4 pds gained over the last few days. No surprise. Combination of factors including stress of a work deadline, horrible sleeping patterns or lack of sleep entirely, lowered water count, higher carbs and inconsistent or absent running.

Back on the horse today. Gonna be strict about this. THe rules:
1) working out in the morning, no matter what, and for 7 days a week--no excuses!

2) Running--not walking etc.

3) Carbs-monitoring strictly

4)water intake higher and consistent

That's it.

Glad to hear you are so motivated. Great job. Don't burn out though. Every now and then, give your muscles time to rest and heal. They will thank you in the long run. Let me know if you find a great way to be mindfull of the carb intake. They are kicking my butt this week. You go girl! You are going to do quite well!!

Good to see you back Amee and you sure can do this, so don't worry about that little gain, it will be off again in no time. ;o)

Great job on recommitting to your goals I can feel it! You can do it! You just stated the facts of what happened...didn't put too much emotion behind it (a great thing) and made a plan for today and for the future. Take it one day at a time. You will do it.

Indeed!! We are all behind you (pushing if necessary :P) But Albright is right. If you choose to exercise 7 days a week you need to at least target different muscle groups to give your muscles a break and healing time.

Great job getting back into your running. I credit running with reshaping my lower body to proportions unseen ever before on my body. Once you start noticing the changes it makes for you, you will be "hooked"! Refocus is our greatest challenge since we all fall off the horse now and again. Great job rising to the challenge!
