WATCH your carbs so well that you are able to LOWER your insulin dosage significantly.
Log EVERY bite of food you put in your mouth.
Suffer through THREE episodes of hypoglycemia.
What do you get for all your hard work...
Zero, that's right, my scale said, "ZERO pounds lost this week". NOT even a single ounce.
This week totally sucked!
I am so freakin' disappointed.
Now I remember why I hate dieting and tend to give up after a couple months every stinkin' time.
204.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 54.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Don't give up!!! It could have been worse by going up!! You are on the right path. I know I have noticed my weight staying steady when I don't walk so even when I am fasting my weight stays steady more unless I walk 5 miles, and by walking 5 miles I will literally do laps in my house just to get it in. No matter what don't give up!

Yes, I know it could have been worse but I'm just in pity party mode. Kid's are coming down from up North to visit tomorrow so that will cheer me up. My step-son just returned from overseas (Middle East working with military as a contractor) and we are excited to see him. He'll be disappointed that I'm NOT making a Key Lime or Butterscotch Pie for him this time. We are going out to dinner tomorrow so hopefully he can order some pie there for dessert. Daughter-in-law said his first stop after the long plane ride home was Steak n' Shake. Runs in the family!
