Importance of activity ... holy moly. We had a bit of wind that blew a bunch of gunk into the pool....I spent a night skimming it out... hoping to help the pool guy, but the next day pool guy was a no-show... so I had no way of getting the stuff off the bottom.of the pool and within 48 hours it was a freaking swamp. Condo association yelled at the pool company, and they showed up and shocked it but it was closed for pretty much 3 days. I went out with my cane and tried to do a little walking but my knees are on the far end of grade 4 arthritis... mushroomed and pitted with stress fractures and Spurs and floating bone chips all over.. they are so bad that the surgeons I've talked to are skeptical about FKR... so I've been swimming because it's my only option. But look at that weight gain from just 3 days of not swimming... and eating an average of 950 calories per day... granted a lot of that weight is water that's accumulated and will soon be flushed out over the next 2 days of swimming, but sheesh! It just goes to show you... there is no weight loss without vigorous activity. Your body needs to move or else...
244.0 lb Lost so far: 218.0 lb.    Still to go: 54.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
