Nice drop Jan somethings obviously working for you! Sugar isnt hard for me to give up it was the carbs I won't list them you know what they are lol when I get to goal it will be everything in moderation. But until that day the journy continues! Good luck Bud!

I did WW several times and lost 40 pounds around 2001 using old information and just following the plan, counting points on my own. What I liked is I could really have anything I really wanted as long as I didn't go over my points. I remember bringing 1 (yes ONE) pecan sandie in my lunch every day - I think it was 2 or 3 points, but I could have it. Now I try to just watch my calories and try to get enough protein. And I hate vegetables but I promised my doctor I would eat more plants. So I usually have 7 or 8 mini peeled carrots first thing in the morning to make sure I've had at least that much in that category. I eat avocado most days, but that is actually considered a fruit, not a vegetable. So like you, I like the idea of having what I like in moderation. I do have sugar in my hot chocolate every morning, and once in awhile I have hot tea with honey.

Some of us do not believe in moderation. If a food is a trigger, omit it. Abstinence works really well for me when it comes to nuts.

Congratulations! The plateau will be in your rear view mirror now! I'm so proud of you and you are such an inspiration! I've watched you be so faithful to this process! You are half way to your goal in two months. That is totally amazing. Have I ever told you how wonderful it is to be married to you? :) You've been the inspiration for me starting my journey, support for so many others on FS, supporting me totally on mine. You are terrific! I'm so proud of you for doing the things that work for YOU! This is all about individual bodies, individual programs, individual trials. What works for others doesn't mean it works for you. You have researched, tried and persevered half way to your goal. Congratulations to you for taking all the steps you need to take in order to get there! :)
