Well, despite the best resolutions yesterday, I flaked on myself, and didn't do anything that I said I would--no gym, picked up chinese takeout, and was just miserable!

Today though has been a good turnabout!! Starting last night, I promised a friend I'd stick with the plan and not flake out, and not let her down either! Which gives me more incentive now to not mess up another person's hard work and de-motivate them just coz I'm feelign down!

Worked out in the gym for 30 mins and did treadmill at 4.0 mph (2 miles). Then back at work, and after work, went to my building gym (on almost empty stomach except for the liquid diet I have been on today). Did a good workout in the building--30 mins on elliptical (2.6 miles), 30 on bike (8 miles), and at home, did 50 pushups, 50 squats with ball, and 200 crunches (in smaller sets ofcourse!!).

I feel tired right now..but really good about my accomplishments. Also, I brought my heart rate monitor along, and it helped a great deal to keep the heart rate going atleast 135 mph and up..

Meals: Decided to start the new cycle with some body-cleansing, hence just a liquid diet for 1 day. Had 1 coffee around noon, and then another in the evening and then before gym, a soy milk/whey protein homemade shake. Overall no more than 10 carbs!!

Drank LOTS of water!

All in all, a great day...need to be just as vigilant tomorrow. Oh, and i put a little wallpaper banner on my phone "no stopping till you faint"! in other words, no taking a break or getting distracted from my diet and exercise until I meet my goal...or if I faint on a given day!!

Thanks all for your wonderful words of support...! FS is always my saving grace, and these journals always keep me honest and ready to fight the self-sabotage all over again.
