im now on a medical weight loss plan and have lost 24 pounds in two weeks. its mainly a high protien lifestyle, exceptions, no corn, potatoes and bread just once a day. no fruit after 8am and only fresh fruit no canned. but each plan is designed specifically for you. my plan had me increase my intake from 500 to 1200 calories. my sister had to learn portion control and take hers down from 2000 to 1000 calories and a day and she has a few more exceptions non of us can have fried foods. my sister lost 101 pounds in 9 months. but she is more active, on a treadmill an hour every evenning, on a bike 30 min every morning..but for the first time in our lives she is smaller then me. and thats a hard thing to swallow allow i am immmensely happy for her!
198.0 lb Lost so far: 22.0 lb.    Still to go: 53.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
gaining 0.2 lb a week

That is fantastic to have lost that much in two weeks! Congrats to you. I am the same weight as you, have tried everything to no avail. Its not the diet but me. Seems like I can't stick with anything for long. I am impatient and if the scales don't go down fast enough I tend to give up :( My Dr recommended a Dietician but I declined, can't see how they can tell me anything I don't already know. Just need to commit. Will follow you for inspiration!
