Do you ever just want to smack someone upside the head? With a frying pan?
My sister, the one who constantly tries to undermine my diet and remind me of my weight, is 5'6 and 116lbs
She cries to our mom about how fat and ugly she is when in reality she's pushing being underweight. Honestly, I'm starting to hope she gets a medical disorder that makes her gain weight like crazy, regardless of how she eats or exercises. Or that her metabolism quits.
Either way, it may be petty but I would very much like to see karma take a bite out of her. She's so mean to everyone all the time, it amazes me.
Only three more months until she's gone to college and I don't have to put up with her nasty attitude anymore 😫✌🏼️

Your SISTER has an identity problem with a bit of BDD I think. you should feel bad for her. And Kerma if a fickle mistress. She will bite you when you least expect it. Your sister will wake up eventually. Try to be a little forgiving of her ignorance.

I try, I really do. This is just the tip of the iceberg with her, unfortunately. I'm hoping when she goes to college she'll realize she can't treat people the way she does and will mature a little. Mostly I just pity her but she's been driving me INSANE today

Sisters can be a real pain, and if your mother is sympathizing with her, that can make the situation even worse. Just take it one day at a time, concentrate on your own life, and those 3 months will be gone before you know it. You may find that you get along better as you both get older and have independent lives -- and if you don't, you'll realize that the world won't end. (I haven't seen my sister in 50 years, and only began talking to her by phone in the last 10-12 years.) Good luck to you!!

No, Ma'am. You never hit your siblings with the frying pan UNLESS you've gone out and bought a Dollar Store frying pan specially for that purpose. We do not waste our Lodge cast iron on our siblings! :p

Sounds like my sister. Tormented me and called me fat my whole childhood while she was stick thin. Then her metabolism slowed and she ballooned, probably has 50+ pounds on me now. She still called me fat and tormented me. Lol. People don't change!

Lets hope she gets some of her own medicine when she goes away. You've done brilliantly - I know its hard, but just try to ignore her. I wish you luck.

My sister's were always smaller than me. How do you compare a size w to a size 16. You cant. I am 6 inches taller and a completely different frame. On another note when they his menopause it started to catch up with them. Just focus on yourself.

I don't have a sister, but I always wanted one. I pick mine from my friends. Relatives by blood you don't have much of a choice in, but those you choose from your circle of friends always have your back.

Thanks guys. I just like to keep in mind that even if she is skinny and tall, I'm more attractive because I'm kind.

It's always competition with some people and siblings are the worst about rivalry, sounds like she just needs a hug. From a bear, while she's covered in honey. That's probably a bit extreme, but you get the idea. I hate competition, it brings out the ugliest aspects of people, but it can also be useful in helping you to push your own boundaries, just try to take it for what it is from her; insecurity and use it to help you be the best you can be. Para-verbal communication is a form of art, that's where you take whatever words are said and assign whatever meaning you want to them, and that goes for your words or those of others. An example is when a cop pulls you over and gives you a ticket then tells you to "have a nice day". Yeah, we all know she didn't mean what she said, but they've been trained in para-verbal communication as part of their cop curriculum. Remember this, above anything else; the only person in this life you have any true control over is yourself, you get that down and everything else gets a whole lot easier!
