At practice, an angry coach screamed at the guy I was fighting, "How is that guy hitting you! He's a ZEPPELIN!"

I am keeping the intake well below the recommended count. I am exercising to some degree every day. My arms and legs never don't hurt. I have been working on making sure it is less sugar and more protein.

But the rate of loss is slowing, and if I don't post a flat line or a gain next week I'll be surprised.

I'm a zeppelin.

The weekend was full of guests. Which means full of cooking and serving. Which means full of eating. :-(

Okay, that coach was a jerk. The important part was that you were up and moving and beating his guy. How many zeppelins can do that? Somebody suggested recently finding something that weighs the same as what you have lost, a bag of sugar or something, and appreciate that your body no longer has to carry that around. Better yet, find 5 lb of bacon or beef so it looks a little more like what we look like inside. You've already done that! You can do more.

Don't go too low on the intake, that could be counterproductive in the long run. Make the Zeppelin your work out mantra!

Is this one of your coaches? You'll make them eat their words soon enough, take that morons comment and use it to fuel your goals.

He was a visiting coach from another school. I made his guy lose. Woperchild that is a really good idea. Hugo1982, What do you mean counterproductive?

What Hugo1982 means is that if you eat TOO LITTLE, your body's metabolism will slow down in an effort to thwart starvation (an automatic reaction). Copy and paste the following website: http://www.quitehealthy.com/recommended-daily-intake/index.php to calculate what your food intake should be according to your weight, age, sex, activity level, goal (lose weight). It's a great tool. It'll give you a breakdown of how much you can consume to lose weight (carbs, proteins, fats, alcohol, calorie totals) and it's free to calculate. Best of luck, and don't let the meathead coach get you down. Karma... it'll come back to him some day.
