It's cold outside! My car was almost buried in the 18 inches of snow we got last night. I have a very good neighbor. Whenever we get snowfall we alternate shoveling the snow, I shovel both mine and his, one time, and then he'll get mine the next time, which includes clearing off the cars. It's a blessing, and makes it easier on both of us, as it only takes me an extra ten minutes or so to shovel his walkway. I shoveled his snow, yesterday, and the day before, and he beat me to it this morning, so the only thing I had to do was shovel my porch and steps. There's nothing written down, not even an oral agreement, we just help each other out that way; it's amazing.

My neighbor is the best. During the summer, he likes to throw a lot of backyard barbecues, and fish frys, and though his music can get a bit loud, at times, he usually sends me over a nice plate of BBQ, or fish; which he catches himself; he's an avid fisherman; I guess it's kind of a peace offering. Some folk wouldn't care, and blast their music anyway.
extreme170 - You can have the snow. I just spent about an hour, or so digging my car out, so that I can get to work tomorrow. I'd be happy to just see a few flurries.

Awwww that reminds me when I lived close to a neighbor in town...if he mowed his yard I mowed ours..DH worked away 4 nights a week so I tried to get all the stuff done before he came home so he could rest...nothing like good neighbors...that is for sure..:O)
