I was losing weight very well, but it has stalled the last week. Here is a sample of what I eat/drink in a day. Breakfast: 1 egg, 2 slices bacon. Lunch: 1/4 cup raw spinach, 1/2 avocado, no dressing. Dinner:2 sm. skinless chicken strips, 1/2 cup broccoli. Drink: 64 oz water, 2 cups black coffee, one is decaf. That's it. Nothing else. Similar menu's every day. I have cut back a little on exercise because I hurt my knee & foot.
237.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 42.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

A lot of times, we mistake eating less for eating healthy. It is vitally important that women eat no less than 1300 calories and men eat no less than 1500 calories in a day, or your body begins to think that you are starving and will start storing fat to survive. Also, you need to do some kind of exercise in order to boost your metabolism.

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but it sure looks like you're starving yourself. Looks like you're at 500 to 600 calories per day? I'm not seeing much veggies and fruit intake in your diet either. I'm not familiar with all of the different diets on the site, so hopefully someone with more experience and knowledge will respond soon. Good luck. Dennis

Not sure what your total calorie in-take is on a daily basis but maybe your body is in starvation mode? If I remember right, if you are taking in under 975 calories a day, your body will stall out on you and you won't lose the weight. Just a thought :)

You aren't eating enough! Sounds like your body has gone into starvation mode!

I aggree with Jedi-- you need to eat a minn amount of caloires- before your body/mind goes into starvation mode.. if you are stuck in one weight area--try not to focus on your weight loss or gain- but focus on eating healthy and right. There is some things you need to understand especially if you are living north of the Equator-- we are heading into the winter months- and this will effect your weight loss. Your body knows that winter is coming and will try to store as much "fat" as it can for the harsh winter months. You will not lose as fast or as much as the result. But do not give up.. keep eating healthy. Keep looking at the future-- your long term goal.. Keep going- it will come off...

Eat more, and try to mix it up! If you eat the same foods every day (or do the same exercises everyday) your body gets used to it, so switching it up every once in a while does wonders!
