I don't know why but I think you will be in labor 3 days past your due date, that's my prediction. I wish you and the baby Jason or Logan all the best.

While you are at the grocery store look for (real) red raspberry tea. It can help induce contractions and speed labor along if your body is ready for labor. <3

If you are still unsettled on a name, Trevor is a Celtic name for cautious (wise, prudent...trying to use positives instead of stubborn). Maybe that boy is taking his time in finding the right time to arrive...and not while mom is swearing in the driver's seat.

Please don't smack me with your uterus of steel but you know there's a joke about waiting to go into labor day just hovering around here, don't you...?

I tried everything with my first, including shooting golf balls down at the river and drinking margaritas. Nothing. She was 10 days late. My second and third? They practically fell out. Good luck!

Maybe Mexican food will produce enough gas to blow him out. Of course, you'd have to name him Jalapeno....

My girlfriends mother used to move furniture and scrub the floors on her hands and knees. 11 kids, so she knew what it took to push the eject button.

Just a story no new ideas. On my first one, I had a feeling my due date of October something was wrong (before sonograms except for really high risk) I asked my doc if he wanted to change my due date on Wednesday morning. He said no. Wednesday evening at work I was timing easy regular contractions, I worked in a different hospital from my OB at the time 11-7pm, wasn't too concerned. Called in the next day cause the spotting had started, still easy contractions, my nurse friend who lived in the apt. downstairs said stay home. Went in to the hospital about midnight, easy steady contractions but close together and my back hurt a little. 7am doc comes in says still not changing my due date from one month away, dilated to 1. DH refuses to go home asks to stay a bit longer, doc says ok, he'd stop back after rounds @ a nearby hospital. He leaves the hospital. Front door receptionist runs to his car to bring him back, no cells in 1975. Heather was born about 20 minutes later. Pediatrician said she was not early but right on time! It was funny. Loved my OB guy he was also laughing about being all wrong.

Moral of the story is that the docs don't always know, that little boy could appear anytime.

Hard to have patience when you are waiting to meet that new little person.

My daughter was also 10 days late. They induced and I still didn't dilate and the doctor asked me if I wanted to go home. My husband thought I was going to kill her so I was granted a C-section. It was a good thing too because the 7lb baby she thought I was having was 9 lbs 10 ounces.
