Nothing like being ridiculed for turning down a beer. I didn't turn it down because I think I'm going to get fat, jerk-who-judged-me-for-it, I turned it down because alcohol makes me feel wrong. I'm not going dry to be better than you or hold myself above you...I'm doing it because I like when my body feels healthy...even after a day of hard work. Beer is a choice just like any other consumable, I don't have to choose it to feel socially accepted.

Damn strait! Choosing to have a beer or not is the same as choosing to drink soda or not! Why do people, (men in particular) act like it's a crime? Maby some of us just don't feel like drinking. My friends don't care if I decline, and it's really not anyones concern.

It was my husbands friend. I assume it's because he's used to me throwing back a few brews with them. Fortunately my husband came to my defense before I even had to open my mouth. He's a good man :D
