Did about 10 hours of detailed spring-cleaning around the house. New system of home-chores in place today. Couple more rooms still left, but made a good dent, so am pleased. Procrastinated on working out, and had planned on going in the evening, but after all this cleaning, too tired to go. Tomorrow at 7 am it is!

Food points may be on the low-end today, but I sorta had skipped dinner, so was hungry around 11 pm, so just nibbled some mixed nuts and am having a cup of herbal tea (probably pay for this late night snack tomorrow, but 's okay..will be more vigilant about eating dinner earlier and strict about no food past 8 pm.)

Breakdown from today:
Weight-loss: about 2 pounds (post-TOM etc.)

Meals and points:
Breakfast: egg white omelette (1), with red bell pepper, mushrooms, spinach, and basil, and reduced fat feta (1), and oil (1)
coffee with light soy milk (0.5)

Snack: watermelon 1 bowl (1)

Lunch: Shirotaki noodles (0), with pesto (2), basil, red bell pepper, mushroom, garlic, and feta + sprinkled parmesan (1.5)

Snack: grapes 1 bowl (1)
ricecakes (2)

1 serving mixed nuts (almonds, granola, raisns etc) (3)
1 more serving of the same (3)

Total: 17

2lb weight loss? Well done! is that for the week or in the past day ..or what? I really need to catch up to my buddies..I am just sitting on my butt thinking about getting back into routine. hey, what system do you have in place for chores? My area of procrastination is housework. I HATE IT!

I see you are still making great progress. Good job! I love spring cleaning because it is so good for the spirits when you're done. Way to go with the 2 pound loss :)

CL, yes, the 2 lb drop was in a day--after the departure of TOM. Prior to that it was a 1.2 drop, so not as much as I'd expected given the increased workout and the good sticking to the points. However, TOM and eating those salty peaunuts from 2 days ago, must have resulted in a relatively smaller loss on weigh-in day (Friday), and further drop as expected, two days later (Sunday). As for the new system, it's a little complicated to go over, but the long and short of it is I've carved out specific days in my calender for major housework chores, as fitting my schedule. For the other ongoing ones, I'm just going to ensure that I don't give in to "do it later, or do it in a minute"---no pile up of stuff allowed---so, cleaning up as I go along will prevent massive pile-ups and the ensuing dread of tackling a mountain-load of things, hence further procrastination (thus the vicious cycle would continue)..but no more of all that! Every thought I have of "do it later", I'm going to consciously fight it like a disease-symptom and not allow it to "flare"! (ok, yeah, a little dramatic ;))

You're making great progress! congrats! I could use some of your procrastination medicine, seems like a good plan. Are you done with teaching for the term?

08, I have a system in place too..but I never follow it. Basically, Monday is upper floor day. That means the bathrooms get a full hosedown, the bedsheets in all the bedrooms get changed and thorough dusting and cleaning. Tuesday is my ground floor, similar procedure of thorough cleaning and dusting (use no mop method on floor..I hate that!!)Wednesday is my basement day and clean out the Fridge time (in time for Garbage day on Thursday!).BUT..even though my system is great..I never manage to do it all. 10 hours? I cant manage 1 hr!!HELP!!
