Weight is down today; guess I needed that day of rest (plus I peed all day, lol) yesterday. Ahhh, relief! :oD. 131.4 today, 134.5 yesterday, 132.5 the day before. Weird, huh? I'm used to it fluctuating, but sure am happy to have it drop back in the right direction!

Freezing rain forecast has me worried about going to the gym. I really want to go to Gina's Zumba class, but I've slid off the road in freezing rain before; not something I want to repeat ever! The forecast is for any time in the next several hours, ugh. I could stay home & it never fall in this area, or I could get to the gym & have Gina not show up because of dangerous conditions where she's coming from. The advisory says it will increase across the region after 8am; class is at 9:30.

I can always do Zumba at home with my Wii. I pick up my partner from the airport after 7 pm; the freezing rain should melt by then even though the airport's closer to the Gorge, where conditions will be worse. I don't like sounding (or feeling) like a chicken, but I don't think my little Kia would do well on ice. I'll get ready, then recheck conditions. The gym is only a few miles away & I'm sure there is de-nicer on most of the roads between here & there.

Funny - I get that same result if I eat 2 grapefruit before I go to bed. Takes care of all of that sodium from chicken broth. Have you ever made your own broth? I've been reading about it online hoping there won't be as much sodium ~ any helpful hints for a woman who uses the smoke alarm as a kitchen timer??

I use Pacific Foods organic low-sodium chicken broth; comes in a quart carton ; the shelf-stable kind. Handy dandy and good enough to drink a hot cup of. I don't do boiling chicken carcases with veggies & straining broth!
