The body has a mind of its own!!

I did check my weight in the morning (Massiverally said I could do so! ;)), and she was right, my weight was 165.8, so about 0.8 down, not much but there could be many factors, including the fact that the last couple of days' workout hasn't been very energetic, and oh! yeah, TOM came to town today.

Other than that, all day long I've been running around doing stuff (as is typical of Tues/Thurs this semester), and through it all, my stomach has been feeling weird...I was afraid to put anything in it, but did manage to drink some coffee, have my lunch, and drink a little bit of water...water-intake was overall pretty poor. My stomach hurts! TOM, gas, I don't know what...but these daily physiological changes the body goes through this weight-loss process is a little hard to adjust to...I miss the the good old days of being able to eat whatever, whenever, and yet the inner system worked perfectly. And on the other hand, when you do everything right, the body seems to ache, groan, squeal, grunt, rebel, and play daily an incalcitrant child, all unpredictable and wilfull!!

Oh well! Other than that, emotionally I felt much better than yesterday. Yes, the stress-level was high; but emotionally, I didn't feel as drained as yesterday. Due to stress, in my morning class, I was a little less-than-usual self in connecting with students, explaining concepts, and was just generally less sparkly. The afternoon prep for a rather experimental class was stressing me out especially in light of the fact that today was the dreaded judgment day, in a sense. So despite feeling a little unprepared, and rather strssed, the class actually went very well!! We actually got a lot done and had fun! No one even looked at the clock today, and they stayed past the actual time!! So, all in all, everything turned out ok...hmm....well, except for the water-intake thing..

Oh! and by the time I came home, I was rather hungry, so made a bean curd stir fry, and decided to go work out after. But my stomach still keep hurting a little, so I'm just gonna wimp out and not work out today. Tomorrow, I have to go in the morning! Memo to myself: If I miss working out in the morning, the evening ones tend to be very unreliable and rather difficult to accomplish---so I REALLY need to get it done in the morning!!

Lately just not been able to fall asleep early enough, and so it feels really hard to wake up early in the morning!! I wish I could MAKE myself fall asleep earlier!

Water: LOW!!

Meals of the day:
Breakfast: cereal and milk (3)
Lunch: coffee with cream (1) and veggie casserole with skim cheese and fat-free cream of mushroom (4)
Evenign snack post-class: baby carrots (Oh! I wonder if it's those that's making my tummy ache!)
Dinner: BEan curd stiry fry 1.5 serving (5)
reduced fat peanut butter 2 tbsp (4)
1 wasa cracker (0.5)
celery sticks
post-dinner: grapes (1)

Total points: 18.5

If indeed misery loves company, then we should be very good company for each other today! I'm envious of your .8 lb loss so don't downplay the size of it. You did great in my books! I hope your day today will be less stressful and that your tummy troubles work themselves out. Take care of yourself and drink your water!

You did great in my books too! This eating thing is going very well. Sorry work is giving you so many headaches (and stomach aches!) Hope things start running more smoothly for you work-wise soon.
