@blondie: I have been this weight and very gaunt because of ED. My personal goal for myself is to get down to the lower end of my BMI without starvation. That’s why I say in my journal, each pound I lose causes another memory that is often painful for me to relive. But I am doing this healthily, since the very beginning. The scale doesn’t measure health. It never has. And so if your scale tells you that at X amount of weight you are doing things that are unhealthy and harmful for yourself, then you know your own body and you should respect it. And STOP 🛑 For me that would be getting into the 130s. Again, I have a small bone structure.

I used to be a dancer before arthritis (early onset) claimed a number of joints. It was drilled into me: soft knees, lift torso, shoulders back and down.Another thing I noted-and look around you!-is the tendency as we age to 'look down'. Literally: walk with face pointing down looking at the ground. This leads to the dowager hump AND stiffness everywhere. Just remembering to look straight ahead on a relaxed neck-I can see the ground if I move my eyes downward-and paying attention to my shoulders. I think I'm gonna get back at least an inch that I 'lost'!
