FWIW, the comment seemed to me to be trying to compliment you - obviously from someone who can't add properly! And it's hard to guess intent from a simple confused comment. Hope you have a better day tomorrow - I just back from vacation too and today was brutal and I don't want to go back tomorrow!

IMHO - a compliment that can be taken badly is normally meant to be so. Took me a while to spot passive aggressive, because my family is 'all in your face' aggressive, no passive about it. But I think I spotted it there...

I agree with abbadabba. I don’t think she meant anything by it. It’s very hard to gauge what people mean when you can’t see their face or hear their tone. I can also see where you would be upset. I can be sensitive and when I’m the right mood, things/comments can set me off. (Just ask Phil haha) Perhaps it’s all a misunderstanding and tomorrow will show that and all will be well! Have a good night and hopefully a better tomorrow! (And no you don’t look old, I suck at guessing ages so never ask me to guess lol but you don’t look ‘old’. Personally I couldn’t wear that top but I couldn’t when 120 or even 107. I’m just not comfortable with my body as I was in my 20’s. But you are so rock it!)
