Apples/Bananas I used to eat a small apple in the afternoon as a "pick me up" but within a half hour my stomach was growling for something more. Switched to peanut butter on celery and the growling went away. Can't do apples although I love them, they make me hungrier. Same thing happens with bananas. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I tend to stay hungry on fruit alone, hard boiled egg is 78 calories and it will give you a lasting fullness. Any type of protein alone with fruit may help.

Fruit is sugar. I rarely eat any now because it affects me unless I have protein with it. Crazy the way insulin works when you have ruined it! Fruit is a cheat for me now except for avocado and tomatoes.
