Attempt #2.. Let's see if they will let me save this one!! Lol!

My long weekend has not gone as planned thanks to my lack of being able to handle the heat. Although there has been a few positive things that have some out of it.
The biggest positive has been the copious amount of water that I have been consuming. For the last three days I have consumed the average of 5L per day. Lots of ice and using the same lemon wedge until I have killed it!! Lol

Now here is a break down of my weekend:
Friday: worked till 3, ran some errands after work and then came home and crashed
Saturday: felt sick most of the day, so tried to stay cool and read my book! Finally dragged my ass over out in the early evening. That is when I bought those stupid blue chips. I knew they were bad, but wanted something that would stay down!
Sunday: finished my one book started another, thank goodness I picked up so many books on my library trip! Then it was grocery shopping and to mom's. Did not stay long at her place since I still felt pretty ill. Stopped again on my way home at shoppers and bought my almond milk and cereal. The cereal I purchased has 13g of protein, so I am hopeful this will help me increase my energy and strength level.
Today: I have no idea what I am going to do, perhaps take a short walk and find a shady spot outside that I can lounge in! Might be a tad difficult since the bone heads cut down my shade tree from behind my apartment! A french phrase explains it.. They are paus toute la!! Ha ha learned that one off swamp people last night!!
Well time to go and figure out what I am going to do today!!

Aww I'm sorry. It's hit the 100's here a couple of times and I seclude myself to my office and my apartment through the week. My errands on the weekend in the heat give me bad headaches and leave me feeling like poop, so I can understand where you are coming from. I do not like the heat. I keep swearing I'll move to Alaska someday... Just keep up the water, it's the best suggestion out there- along with trying to stay out of the heat as much as you can.

Dang those boneheads! What's the deal with cutting down your shade tree? So sorry you're under the weather. The shady spot sounds nice & maybe that will help. You crack me up with your reference to "Swamp People." My husband LOVES that show! Me? Not so much! You put that reference to TV in your journal today just for me -- didn't you! He-he-he-he-he-he-he! Hope you are better soon. You might be water logged. I put the word "logged" there because I know how much you like "Swamp People." He-he-he-he-he-he!
