Just finished my thesis! Yay! But after 2 years of grad school, I've gained a lot of weight. I kept telling myself that my thesis was more important than what I looked like, so I didn't exercise much and I responded to stress with junk food. I should have taken better care of my body though. I want to be healthier now. I want to develop good exercise habits and eating habits so I can stay healthy. I also want to lose weight. Especially in my thighs. For the past two summers, when I wear skirts, my thighs rub together and get sweaty and cause these painful sores that I've never had before. Before the end of this summer, I want to lose enough weight that that doesn't happen anymore. That's my goal.
