My recommended rdi started out at 2000 calories...I didn't like this, so I manually reduced it to 1800 calories. After three days on this diet, and not even eating that amount, I have once again reduced it. This time I have reduced it to 1500 calories per day. For me, if the calories are there...I ease up on myself and say well they are there for a reason, so I can get away with eating this ice cream or this candy bar and ice cream...

So I have to get tough on myself, and just not let them show at all. Of course, I'm not going to cry if I do go over my personal daily allotment...it just means I have to work harder the next day!
