I'm not sure if any of u have this problem but I don't hv a sweet tooth or cravings but I love food like it's hard for me to part from curry and rice and potatoes .... any ideas if I can keep this in my diet if u have n still lost I miss it a lot it's been 2 weeks

You can totally still eat these things if you stick to your daily calorie limit. Just try to use no oil in the curry and keep portion sizes of rice and potatoes small - like 80-100g. Or just decide to have what you're craving as a cheat meal maybe once every couple of weeks.

I usually replace my 80% of my carbs with something else, like instead of a full portion of pasta I have 20% of the dish as spaghetti but the rest veggie noodles. no it's not the same, but if you don't change the food you won't change your body :/ doing it this way reduces the urge to full on cheat because you still get to enjoy a little of what you love so you don't crave it as much. if you're doing a curry with rice, remove some of the starches in the curry. perhaps replace 80% potato with eggplant chunks?

I agree 100% with Nikina! If you're counting calories you can definitely fit in the foods you love. Maybe go do some research on "flexible dieting"

Thanks guys it's like I hv done well past 2 weeks but the cravings now shew I guess it becomes boring and I hv to cook for the family n temptation .... but I guess I will hv a smalll portion mwybe 2 tbsp of rice n the meat from curry leave out potatoes ultimately it's the taste now i miss not the stuffing ure face lol once I get the taste u satisfied

I have the same problem I crave pap and bread so I always have these in small portions every 2-3 day but stay within your calorie limits U can still loose weight 😉

@mamaphala mmmmhhh love me some pap and curry it's my hubbyd fav but i guess u right small amount gew times a week is ok ..when we to hard on ourselves it makes giving up easier the swaps are helping and the fact that I keep fat n protein in my diet that tastes good helps eggs for breakfast a good lunch n light supper is what I do.... all the best to u
